WHAT IS VOXSLING?

A new weekly series of nurturing and creative Singing workshops for pregnant and new mothers with part harmony songs, gentle movement and breathwork.

4 week FREE pilot course @Clifton Centre, St Leonards
Tuesdays 11.30am - 12.30

January 20th & 27th, February 3rd & 10th

Arrive from 11.30 to gather, chat, have tea

Singing starts 11.45am

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WORKSHOPS:

Tara will lead the group through a series of gentle breathing exercises and some movement along wit the singing (you don't need to be a confident singer to join!)

We will learn a collection of easy yet satisfying part harmony songs - so you will have a bank of songs to continuing singing at home

These workshops are for you the parents and soon to be parents, with your babes-in-arms being bathed in sound (Sling wearing encouraged but prams also welcome)

Why singing? - there is so much research into the benefits of singing for new mothers, and in turn the support singing can have on language and emotional development of your child and soon to be born child.

This pilot 4-week course is supported by Sound Connections and run in partnership with East Sussex Early days (ESED) & the Clifton centre. These sessions will start straight after ESED free breast feeding support group which runs every Tuesdays from 10-11.30am
