Tots Gigs (previously known as Tea + a gig) is a monthly morning series of acoustic gigs for parents who want to see a great gig in the daytime and bring their babies in tow. Bringing to the stage an eclectic mix of established & emerging musicians from the London world, folk and contemporary music scene, every month we programme a new artist/band to perform.

Performing at this Sunday special gig: Quest Ensemble & Somang Lee

Fresh back from performing a newly commissioned show at CCB, Lisbon as part of the 'Big Bang' festival, Contemporary piano trio Quest Ensemble will play a special set of music with live ink projections from visual artist Somang Lee.

Quest Ensemble (Filipe Sousa - piano, Tara Franks - cello, Preetha Narayanan - violin) collaboratively create original work, seamlessly blending improvisation with devised composition. Drawing on influences as broad as the contemporary minimalism of John Adams and Steve Reich to medieval plainchant, the experimental melancholic textures of Radiohead to the progressive jazz precision of Brad Mehldau…
