There is a growing network of professional artists who underpin the artistic spirit of SoundsCreative Projects, collaborating on projects as workshop leaders, performers at our curated concerts, and co-creators of the Conjure Your Own projects. Each connected artist brings their individual expertise to help create unique musical experiences.
Meet the musicians who lead some of the Neighbourhood Projects and often form part of the commissioned Conjure Your Own projects team.
Tara is the driving force, founder and Creative Director of SoundsCreative Projects; conjuring up new ideas, co-creating the Conjure Your Own commissions, leading many of the Neighbourhood Projects including Tots Tunes and Vox Voices and gathering together and collaborating with the connected artists. Inspired by people and places, Tara plays cello and sings, collaborates on a mix of cross genre and cross arts projects and loves leading creative projects with all ages an stages.

Preetha works with SoundsCreative leading Neighbourhood Projects including the SoundsCreative Ensemble and as a guest artist at Tots Tunes. She also collaborates on Conjure Your Own commissions. Preetha is a violinist, collaborator, and educator who strives to communicate across cultures and styles through her music and research and build co-creative, meaningful relationships with fellow performers, audiences, and the next generation of students.
Filipe works with SoundsCreative leading Neighbourhood Projects including the SoundsCreative Ensemble and Big & Small, as well as collaborating on Conjure Your Own commissions. He is a pianist, composer and workshop leader who whether writing a piano piece, a multichannel installation, or a soundtrack for a film, aims to to take the listener on a journey to a place that challenges and surprises them.

Tara, Preetha and Filipe write and perform as a collective, both in a piano trio format and string duo . They often work together to lead larger scale Conjure Your Own projects in collaborative composition with young players of all ages and creative training in collaboration and improvisation.
