Vox Voices special Sunday workshop in Dalston, London

Tara will be running a one off- Sunday vocal workshops this year.

Come and join an afternoon vocal workshop open to female singers of all experiences.  In Vox Voices style, Tara will lead the group through a series of activities from warms ups, collective improvising, sound baths, circle songs to creating new harmonies together. Over the course of the workshop we will learn 2 to 3 a cappella tunes, swapping from part to part with everything learnt by ear. 

Whether you are a confident singer and want the chance to be part of a group, a nervous but intrigued singer or a regular Vox Voices member, this workshop is for you as everyone will be supported to find their voice within the group sound.

The Sunday afternoon Tots Tunes shake ups will continue bi-monthly in the gorgeous venue of Saint Barnabas Dalston. Come and join a joy-filled Tots Tunes workshop - with live music and a chance to sing, listen to, and dance along to folk songs from around the world, rounds and Tots Tunes original songs, all with your little ones and families. A great Sunday activity as much for the adults as little ones

Bright Foundation Family Festival partnership

This year once again I will am curating the music for another beautiful Bright Foundation Family Festival featuring some wonderful artists, cinema with live music and family theatre all in the stunning surroundings of The Barn Theatre just on the edge of Hastings.

The festival will take place on Saturday 17th June and Sunday 18th June at stunning Barn Theatre & Museum, Rodgers Farm, Hastings TN35 4PH.

Come and join us for music from The Magic lantern, Ana Silvera, Saied Silbak, Balladeste, Let Drum Beat and The Lost Revellers. As well as live cinema and theatre.

The band is back together this year - Tara has gathered an amazing 5-piece band of top class musicians. from the folk, jazz scene, to create a family show featuring all the favourite Tots Tunes songs with all the harmonies, percussion and string parts flowing.

The band will feature Simon Roth (percussion), Preetha Narayanan (violin/voice), Francesca Ter-berg (cello/voice), Flora Curzon (Violin/voice) - bringing an exciting expanded version of the repertoire of world, folk and new music to audiences big & small.

This is a family gig so older children ae welcome too (up to approx 7yrs)

Folk songs, new tunes, dance moves!

For parents to come and sing folk songs from around the world, dance, listen and shake it up with your babies and toddlers.

As much for the parents as little ones, so suitable for those with babes in arms and toddlers! - it is a mix of a therapeutic sing with many harmonies, a joyful dance around together and a bit of cello. Founded and run by cellist singer Tara Franks.

Drop in any week and pay on the door - £8 (adult + little one) - additional adults +£5
