Vox Voices - Women Sing! - June evening singing workshops
Come and join a 5 week course of collective singing, re-find your voice together with a joyful, supportive group of women. Connect, breath, move & make a sound!
Workshop dates: 1st, 8th, 15th (online this week only), 22nd, 29th June @St Barnabas Dalston E8 2E8 (Beautiful upper hall space)

Singing starts 7.15pm ends 8.30pm

Back by popular demand, this special one-off half term workshop is a chance for children to get creative, play some percussion, draw, dance & sing.
Tots Tunes with a Twist for 4-6 yr olds
(3 yr olds welcome too as are older kids if at home and wanting to join in)
This workshop is taking the usual format of Tots Tunes and twisting it up a bit to focus the activities at the young ones - we will add some percussion - bring anything you can find at home to tap, shake or scrape, drawing & a selection of folk songs to sing & dance and get our shake on!

Join the journey of global folk songs & original tunes over 4 weeks, as ever with dance moves, shaking and a chance to just lie down and listen (the Shavasna moment of Tots Tunes!)
Thursdays: 25th February & 4th, 11th & 18th March
Only £25 for the whole course (per household)
Even if you miss a class, it is still fine to be part of the whole course
Tots Tunes will be back online in this next month with a slightly different format and adding 2 special classes for 4-6 yr olds while schools are closed!

Tots Tunes is back in real-life indoor action this December - really looking forward to running some Saturday shake ups, in the lovely Saint Barnabas Dalston. (The space is all set up to be Covid secure, plenty of room to spread out and enjoy some live music together. Places however are very limited so book quickly if you would like to join)
If you are new to finding the website and want to make sure you stay updated with all SoundsCreative going on both, inside, outside, online and more. Make sure you sign up to the newsletter to be the first to be updated when new events are happening (particularly at the moment as things are ever changing and constantly evolving!)
Bring a shaker, a rug for your family group, your dancing feet, (quiet) singing voices! More info on the booking link. Please arrive 15 mins early and wait outside in the courtyard t be let in.
I came across my last box of hard copy Tots Tunes CDs the other day! If anyone wants to buy one or even a few as Christmas presents, email soundscreativeprojects@gmail.com and we can arrange where to send them to and payment method (CDs are £8 + £2.50 p&p)

It has been a few weeks now of reconnecting in real life with many of the SoundsCreative community.
It is such a joy to be away from a screen and out in the green once again chatting and being with people in real life. All workshops have limited capacity to keep social distancing in place yet make sure the experience is as it should be. Places have to be booked in advance too and so far sell out very quickly!
Vox Voices evening women singing group have been meeting again to sing under a Cathedral of willows in a local Hackney Park, the first workshop after 4 months was quite emotional and so nice to get the regular group of women back together again.
Tots Tunes is out on the move around Hackney green spaces - so far Clissold Park and Butterfield Green, Stoke Newington and next week across to Millfields Park in Clapton.
