Connecting people through creative musical experiences
SoundsCreative Projects gathers together people of all ages through playful, inventive, musical experiences from workshops, courses, gigs to bespoke creative projects.
Founded in East London (Hackney) by cellist, collaborator, creative leader Tara Franks, SCP runs a collection of local workshops, classes and gigs - Neighbourhood Projects, for parents & babies, young creative musicians, adults who want to sing and rusty, dusty musicians - all in inspiring and unusual local spaces
SCP is also commissioned to conjure up a myriad of bespoke collaborative projects both locally and internationally, for schools, cultural organisations, museums and art galleries. Please in touch if you have a seed of an idea and want to commission a project.
In 2022 the SoundsCreative hub moved from Hackney to Hastings, expanding the programme of events from East London to the new neighbourhood hub by the sea. Keep an eye on the What’s On page for updates of events in both location and UK wide.
Find out more about SoundsCreative’s neighbourhood projects…
SoundsCreative’s neighbourhood projects around Hackney have been through many changes since the pandemic! Whilst the regular face to face programme of gigs, workshops and classes were on hold, SoundsCreative brought a bit of musical joy into homes all over the world online & outdoors - Tots Tunesfor parents and under 5s, Vox Voices female vocal group, Family household sings and Big&small Kitchen drum band. Now projects selected ‘neighbourhood projects’ run in Hackney and Hastings, currently event based and less reguarly.
